Teltonika TRB246 Industrial IoT Gateway is a robust and compact 4G LTE Cat 4 gateway engineered for diverse M2M and IoT industrial applications. It features dual SIM slots with automatic failover and supports multiple SIM switching scenarios such as weak signal, data limit, roaming, and network denial, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted connectivity.

The gateway offers a range of industrial interfaces including 1x 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, RS232 and RS485 serial communication ports accessible via a 16-pin terminal block, and 3 configurable digital inputs/outputs. It supports key industrial protocols like DNP3, DLMS, and Modbus, enabling seamless integration with utilities, SCADA, smart city solutions, and remote monitoring systems.

Encased in durable aluminum housing, the TRB246 supports DIN-rail, wall, and surface mounting options (mounting kits sold separately), with power input via a 16-pin terminal block rated 9–30 V DC featuring reverse polarity and surge protection. Note the product is supplied without a power supply unit (PSU excluded).

Additional features include GNSS and LTE antenna connectors (SMA), SIM adapter kits, and onboard mobile status and management capabilities such as IMSI/ICCID/operator tracking, signal metrics, SMS utilities, multiple PDN support, automatic APN, and SIM PIN management. The device is fully manageable through Teltonika's Remote Management System (RMS), with firmware and software tools available for advanced control.
