Featuring an 8-stream architecture across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, it delivers a combined maximum physical data rate of up to 12.2 Gbps (688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 5765 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 5765 Mbps on 6 GHz).

This AP is equipped with a single 10G/2.5G RJ45 Ethernet port that supports 802.3bt PoE and DC power input options, enabling versatile and convenient installation without the need for a local power outlet. Advanced Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as 320 MHz channel bandwidth on 6 GHz, Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO ensure enhanced throughput, lower latency, and efficient spectrum utilization.

The dedicated RF scanning spectral analyzer continuously monitors tri-band spectrum for interference detection and troubleshooting without impacting network traffic (requires Omada controller). The device seamlessly integrates with Omada SDN centralized and cloud management platforms. It supports Omada Mesh, seamless roaming (802.11k/v/r), and advanced security features including WPA3, rogue AP detection, captive portal authentication, and up to 24 SSIDs (8 per band).

Designed for wide coverage and capacity, the EAP787 supports over 510 concurrent clients and covers areas up to approximately 2050 ft² (190 m²) under typical conditions. Its robust build includes internal antennas and a mounting kit for ceiling, wall, or junction box installation.
