The Tycon Power TP-DCDC-1224 is a highly reliable DC-to-DC converter integrated with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector, designed to supply regulated 24V Passive PoE output from a wide 9–36V DC input range. This compact unit, ideal for 12V or 24V battery systems, supports continuous power delivery up to 19W, making it perfect for powering wireless access points, IP phones, security cameras, and other network devices that utilize PoE.

Key features include dual power inputs (one common negative and two positive inputs) allowing connection of primary and backup power sources, ensuring uninterrupted operation. Data input is accepted through a shielded RJ45 jack while power and data are delivered on a shielded RJ45 output with power carried on Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-). It supports 10/100 Mbps network speeds and features robust protections against short circuits, overload, reverse polarity, and overvoltage scenarios.

Its rugged design supports high temperature environments ranging from -30°C to 60°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. The TP-DCDC-1224 is DIN rail mountable with optional Tycon DIN rail adapters (PN: DIN-ClipKit-UNI) for easy installation.
