Featuring a sleek black polycarbonate, glass, and aluminum alloy enclosure, it provides multiple unlocking options including a 12-capacitive-button keypad (PIN), NFC card/keyfob, UniFi Identity mobile app, and Apple/Google Wallet (Touch Pass).

This reader boasts an IP55 weather resistance rating, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments with an ambient temperature range from -30 to 60° C. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) via its 10/100 MbE RJ45 port, simplifying installation by delivering power and data over a single cable.

With NFC operating at 13.56 MHz and a read range of less than 30 mm, the reader supports a wide array of standards and technologies including ISO/IEC 14443A/B, 15693, 18092 (Ecma 340), MIFARE Classic/DESFire, Sony FeliCa (ID only), NFC Forum tags T1T–T5T, and ECP 2.0.
